Johnny and June married in 1968 on March 01, after he proposed to her during a live performance in London, Ontario.
The couple had one child together, John Carter Cash. June died in May 2003 at the age of 73, and Johnny passed away just four months later aged 71.
The poll, commissioned by life insurance company Beagle Street, put Winston Churchill's letter to his wife Clementine the second most romantic of all time.
